Watch out world....next stop who knows

Never in a million years would I have believed that this would be the size clothes I am fitting into these days!!! (Pinch me I must be dreaming)  Coming up on one year from starting with the nutrition plan and exercise (wow where o where did another year go?)   I have lost 54 lbs (so far) and gone from a size 14 to a size 0.   Working out with the trainer (and not to mention the awesome work pals) has been amazing.

I have also donated ALL my old clothes...so there is no going back!!!

Katie's First Concert !!

Finally had the chance to take Katie to her first concert!!! Had a great show with Aiylah and Jasmina at USANA.  American Authors opened, followed by the Script and finally One Republic.  For a late June show...it was sure freezing!!!  We were snuggled up in our sweatshirts and blankets with thousands of our new friends.

Jolene and I ventured out on a blustery evening to Red Butte for a great night with Gavin Degraw and Colbie Callait.  We had to pull out the trusty yellow poncho's to fight off the weather...but all in all a great night.  Good food, great wine and a great friend!!!  Love ya Jo

So I am a major slacker (I know) at updating my posts...but downloading all my photos gave me a bit of excitement to get some new posts updated.   This show was amazing !!!! I would highly recommend seeing them in person when they come your way.

Welcome to 2014

Looking back over the last year....is not an easy task.  Where does the time go?  I sit here an ponder all that has happened and think "What did I do wrong? " Started the year off with a bang, new house, new love, renewed sense of making it in the world.  By the start of the summer all that was shattered.  Yet another love gone and now what.  At that point I decided to fuck it all and do something for me!!! I am over giving so much to others and at the end of the day , not one person really gives a shit for what I have done for them, what I have done to make their life better or easier.  No more !!! In July I started with the nutritionist determined to make it work for me and really get healthy and loose weight.  I sit here today 43 lbs lighter and aaaammmmaaazzzzeeeddd at how easy it was.  I am going to keep going - maybe maintain at an even 50 lbs.

Another fun Tuesday morning.....

So Jr. learned to ride his bike without training wheels yesterday evening..... and this morning used that bike to run away.   Katie and I cornered the little runaway in the back of the town home complex, Katie pulled him off the bike and I grabbed the bike and put it in the back of the car.  I sure hope no one was looking out the windows… as it looked like a full on kidnapping.

Oh well…. Another fun Tuesday morning.

Is this real?

I tend to think of myself as a very logical, control-my-own destiny kind of girl.  Until recently....where all logic has gone out the window. Can this sensation .... This completely foreign feeling be real? I have met the most wonderful guy ( pause for dramatic effect) ...this warm, wash of contentment floods over me every time he enters my thoughts.  I'm either completely crazy ... Or completely crazy in love!

New House

So this awesome process of selling my home is coming to an end.  All major milestones for the sale of the Brown street house are completed, and now just in the waiting game to close.  

The new place is nearly completed on construction, appraisal is happening this week and then all the milestones will be done for the new place.  Now comes the super fun of PACKING !!!  So far I have thrown away an entire garbage can of useless crap from the garage....and unearthed enough spiders to start my own Arachnophobia #2.
